Executive Coaching

3 Step Approach

Self-awareness is the most critical attribute a leader can cultivate. My executive coaching utilises my own methodology that I developed and have used over the past decade. This methodology adopts a GPS style road map - Goals, Performance, Success; incorporating. assessments, personal development plans, goal setting, bite-sized learning, and coaching feedback. Each GPS element is  customised to meet the distinct needs of every individual to create a road map to their success. I have successfully coached a diverse range of clients, from solopreneurs to C-suite executives.
 

  1. Phase One: Goals (Discovery & Development Planning)
    Tools:
    Thinking Pattern Profile™ (Hartman Institute Axiometrics Value Profile, or AVP)
    The Discovery phase concludes with a three-hour one-on-one debrief of the assessments and the creation of a coaching development plan. Or, Global DISC from ICQ Global.
     
  2. Phase Two: Performance (1:1 Coaching Sessions and Accountability)
    Individual coaching sessions typically last one hour and can be conducted in person or via Teams, Skype, Zoom, or phone. The main focus is on achieving the goals outlined in the personal development plan, and small, easily digestible learning resources are provided to support the coaching process. Between coaching calls, goal progress nudges are delivered via WhatsApp. A standard coaching engagement consists of 6-12 coaching sessions and check-in sessions involving the coaching sponsor.
     
  3. Phase Three: Success (Final Assessment and Ongoing Development)
    A final coaching session marks the conclusion of the formal coaching engagement. During this session, we will reflect on two key questions: "Was the coaching effective?" and "How will the coachee ensure ongoing success?"

4 Week Programme

A culture of trust within a team supports agile decision-making, leading to better outcomes at a faster pace. Creating these optimal conditions will improve engagement, outcomes, and performance. I use a combination of emotional intelligence and practical tools to build trust and enhance team synergy. Typical team effectiveness engagements include individual assessments of team members, generating collective buy-in and accountability, and four one-hour workshops with individual commitments to leadership actions between sessions, whether virtual or face-to-face.

The Thinking Pattern Profile™ is based on the Nobel-nominated research of Dr. Robert S. Hartman, who developed the Value Profile™. It is the only assessment of its kind, directly measuring competencies based on decision-making.

The profile identifies what a person pays attention to (and what they don't) as they make decisions. A personalised report pinpoints the capacities we possess, as well as our vulnerabilities, including the ability to plan, pay attention to detail, or read other people. It also suggests ways to leverage strengths and compensate for vulnerabilities.

The assessment is easy to administer, and the results are accurate, objective, quantitative, universally applicable, and virtually impossible to bias. I am an accredited Axiometrics analyst.

 

Global DISC™ is an ICF-accredited behavioural model that explains how personality type and cultural background influence three layers of identity: What, How and Why we act, think and do the way we do. I am accredited to use and deliver these profiles.

 

Clifton Strengths Finder™ - supported by an accredited associate, I can provide CliftonStrengths reports and guides to provide "aha" moments as people experience new ways to understand what makes them unique.

 

Insights Discovery™ - supported by an accredited associate, I can provide psychometric reports based on the psychology of Carl Jung, Insights Discovery is built to help people understand themselves, understand others, and make the most of the relationships that affect them in the workplace.
